Stayed here in July, totally fantastic, no complaints. No problem with the manager, all the staff were great!
Lovely town, resort, beach, weather & people.
Very pleasant hotel to go only by yourself. Dutch, Polish , Russian and English singles, nice representatives and lots of interaction. Rooms are clean, pool is well kept and the sea is OK. You can snorkle immediately when you descend down the beach. Dinnning room and terrace have a nice atmosphere. No cat walk idea . It was lovely to be with you !
the hotel is set in a very nice place, the pool area is standard could be a bit better, maybe larger?, whilst we were staying there, there was a wedding around the pool and how magnificent it looked was beyond belief, everything was crisp white- pure scenery, the restaurant was on another lovely setting outside were the best seats-looking slightly over the sea and the island of kefalonia, at some point around eight their time you see the lovely orange&purple sunset! not to be missed, whilst we were there we went on 2 trips- island treasures- I recommend this to family's, couples, anyone for that matter!- included in this trip is a ferry ride from 10-6 there are 2 swim stops one in the middle of the sea which is guaranteed to be safe by the captain and one in a little alcove which is stunning to be under,later on the last stop is at the famous greek shipwreck and boy was it worth the wait. it was fantastic! the beach was small and alot of people were on the ferry so it means more people on the beach but I'm normally picky about that but I didn't get out of the water for the hour we were told to be there for- the water was absoloutely gorgeous- the most clear gorgeous blue water I have ever seen!we went past the blue caves but couldn't see much of them.... we saw turtle bay but didn't see any turtles as the boat was quite far away from the isolated island. we saw a shark though! only a medium sized one but it was definately a shark the captain said. although nothing to worry about that was about 2 miles south from the swim stop. the other trip we went on was 'rocky road trip' and it was worthwile wasn't spectacular but it was very good!, the driver was only 18 though so were a bit nervous about that but he was a very good guide&drive to my suprise! he gave lots of information to us. on this trip there is a stop looking over the sea where you have lunch. not included in the trip package& also you stop in the smallest village in the whole island where only 25 people live! you stop in a small cafe for the toilets or/and to buy a drink. near the end you go onto a viewing point looking over the shipwreck which is VERY VERY VERY high up so if your afraid of heights I wouldn't go onto the small bridge. in the hotel they didn't tell us to bring swimwear because you stop at a small beach for about 2 hours as the last stop before they drop you of at your hotel.so make sure to bring your swimwear! you will have to find out where 'jupiter-hotel' is though as the tours don't pick you up from your hotels you have to walk about 10 minutes into the town and wait at another hotel. the restaurant is very nice and small sized, the food is very tasty but not much choice. the rooms are basic but nice enough. the beach is nice but not exactly white sand, soft sand, but it's not pebbly either- it's in between. you have to pay to go onto the beach. 9euros for 3 beds- which means 3euros for each bed. if you want an umbrella up it's 10euros. there is a beach restaurant where the food is VERY good, but not very cheap. you can hire pedallos, you can hire snorkling equipment and you can even take basic snorkling lessons in the sea. there is a gym but it is unsupervised. whilst we were there a little boy walked in and started picking up really big weights. we walked out of the gym, when we were walking up the corridor we heard really loud crying- the boy had locked himself in there so it could be better in terms of supervising the gym. there is a beauty salon but never any staff or people in there. you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet so you have to put your used toilet paper in the bin:/ I was a bit undecided whether to not go to the toilet at all on the holiday. up the road about 10 minutes walk there is a small town what I recommend is going to the 'reptile house' never did I think I would have a snake,turtle,iguana&crocodile all in my hands- wrapped around my neck& on my head! very fun experience and it's very cheap. overall the hotel is very good- could be some improvements and I hope for them to take in the bad points and in the distant future be able to make some improvements to make the hotel get up to a 5 star!

"What a lovely stunning Hotel"
We have just returned from a 14 day holiday to Alexandra Beach and we can't rave about it enough - our plans were to travel around the island but we enjoyed ourselves at the hotel so much we never felt the need to move very far. A 10 minute walk round the headland and you are in Tsilivi which is great for an entertaining night out. We would describe the hotel and the location as a little bit of paradise.
The hotel is clean with plenty of facilities. The staff are exceptional from the management to the cleaners nothing is to much trouble. The beach is kept clean and tidy - lovely for children.
The food is varied and plentiful and delicious from evening meals to bar snacks.
Anyone going for a holiday to Alexandra Beach will find it hard not to be captivated by the lovely location.
Thank you to everyone working at the Hotel for such a fantastic holiday - we will be back again and again!!!!!!!
For anyone looking at this guestbook please try to ignore the commentary on Anti-manager it puts the rest of our english speaking nations to shame. If you genuinely have a complaint please use the correct grammar and no swearing please, it really isn't necessary. I'm afraid it says more about you than the point you may be trying to raise. We have booked for another two weeks at this hotel next year and are thoroughly looking forward to it, we would hardly spend our money on something that didn't warrant it.
just come back from the best holiday we have ever had the hotel is in a fab position. bungalow rooms basic but clean and in a perfect spot.the food was delicious. all the staff were great especiaiiy the polish girls and the albanian girl at the beach bar.the head waiter was always immaculatley dressed and always very pleasant and polite.we wud love to return in the future.sending our best wishes to everyone at your hotel ros and paul kennedy x x
